Our commitment to helping people through challenging times extends to our approach to social responsibility. We support organizations that make our communities stronger, advocate for greater access to the benefits that strengthen our societies and families, and give individuals and families — no matter their race, demographic or socioeconomic status — what they need to thrive.

  • Caring Spirit Giving Campaigns: Through our Caring Spirit Giving Campaigns, employees give back to their communities through organized company initiatives that focus on priority needs.
  • Matching gifts program: Employee contributions are matched $1 to $1 for qualified nonprofits, up to $10,000 per full-time employee in a calendar year.
  • Employee Care Fund: Eligible employees can qualify for cash grants for essential needs following catastrophic events like hurricanes and floods, as well as personal disasters such as house fires and burst pipes. The company and employees both contribute to this fund.

Launching in May 2026, the Colonial Life Charity Classic brings Korn Ferry Tour energy to Columbia. This top-tier golf tournament benefits United Way of the Midlands and its efforts to strengthen health, education, and financial stability.
In partnership with the University of South Carolina’s Center for Educational Partnerships, we invest in the Education Leaders Experience program that connects educational leaders in South Carolina with private and community sectors. Through immersive visits, mentorship and collaboration, educators explore workforce trends, learn from industry leaders and strengthen their leadership impact on student success.
